The original name of Los Angeles is huge – La Ciudad de Nuestra Senora la Reina de Los Angeles de Porciuncula which means in English, The City of Our Lady, the Queen of the Angels of Porciuncula.

The economy of the this city is based mostly on international trade – it is the largest manufacturing center in the USA. Other significant sectors of economy are entertainment, motion pictures, tourism, aerospace and fashion.
